I can confirm Wiz's post. I have indeed been suspended till May 2006. I received no warnings or explanations as to why, so I don't know at this stage whether it is because of support for morphious or whether it has more to do with a duplicious character known as Tally aka Artful Dodger, who sought to deceive the entire CoD community over at IWN. He was exposed mainly by Wiz and I and the others on the list also had their input, so it could be for either reason.

Had IWN not tried to cover Tally's back, there would have been no need for the continuous posting about the subject. But thats the difference in moderation, knowing when and how to put a stop to public disagreements.

I can confirm that I was temp banned until the 18th of March.

I only ever posted my opposition against COD2 not having a patch.

I too, have been suspended by the goofs at IWN. It appears that the minute you ask pertinent questions the FK Mob will hammer you.

Its all good though, I look at the mass suspensions last night as IWN's "Night of the Long Knives" .

I'll never post in that swill pool again. I will however, do everything in my power to crush those maggots. The manner in which they screwed Morph over... and a number of really good moderators only dictates that they have to go. The online community has suffered long enough at the hands of the FK Mob.

Slyk of After Hourz had the right description for all this but the wrong entity. He said we were going to watch the Train Wreck of IW... Its really the Train Wreck of IWN.

The current Mods & Admins are either misguided, misinformed or they are part of the problem and will never be forgotten for having been part and party to the FK Mob and its ongoing nefarious deeds.

You have to love how they handle themselves, as much as IW is at fault it will be good to see them host their own forums.

Now why does that not surprise me. I believe that these suspensions are to keep us away from the forum whilst 402 gets acclimatised. So with that in mind, if 402 arrives here and posts, lets give him a smooth ride, at least till the suspensions are over.

Also, with us off the picture, it gives IWN a chance to become "sanitised" in the run up to his official starting date.

What makes you so sure 402 will be situated in the toilet known as IWN? IW & 402 would be far better off having their OWN forums.

Not banned..just not interested in a site that has gone from bad to worse since the high point of 17th December 2005.

I stood tall with so many others in the belief that we had achieved something that no other community had ever done in order to try and gain such a small thing as simple product information.

I do however believe that this date has proved to be a watershed within the video gaming world as whole.
I believe that an awful lot of the gaming industry did in fact sit up and take notice.
Christ there was even a lecture on the ultimate effects of the "Day of Action" at Harvard!

IW may be living in the past but many others have "seen the light" and as a consequence have stepped up to the plate with sincere efforts to rectify the support issues that have plagued so many online versions of their games.
Even EA once considered amongst the worst have now vastly improved their efforts in this area.
How many patches for BF2 have there been?
How much input is there from the DEVs?
Was this in reaction to "Black Saturday" I will leave people to draw their own conclusions?

IWN were apart of that and could have been a far bigger force for positive change with the Call of Duty franchise than any one group or individual.
Now sadly they have dwindled into just another meaningless fansite with a meaningless forum that reminds me of nothing more than a flamers paradise.
Very little positive input comes out of the "Official" site other than the same old "the patch will be ready when its ready"
This is now nearly 6 month after the release of the game...woeful does not come close when you talk about IW and support.

On top of all this comes the news that theft and skulduggery have been involved since day one.
I find so much of this wrong, very wrong and those who would take part in such underhanded methods should be ashamed of themselves.
You did not even sell your soles for 30 pieces of gold but just a little time in the spotlight, basking in the glory that was once Infinity Ward on which the SUN is now setting very rapidly.
