Cod4 Server disconnect

Does it happen on every server you are trying to join?

The same thing happened to me and the dumb ****s at activision have no idea whats going on. they said my nvidia 6200 wasn't good enough but it supports all the requirements. the only solution i have found is a server owner changed the timings to where the server disconnected people from 30 sec to 45 sec and i load fine now but only on that server.

Yeh you just have to keep reconnecting.. The serverside "fix" only applies in the server where its enabled.

Anybody have a fix? There are hundreds of people out there waiting for some smart person to come up with this.

The latest patch appears to have reduced the instance of these disconnects, but not eradicated it. It seems to happen more when switching to custom maps. As usual, IW have broken something but aren't able or can't be bothered to fix it.
