MW3 No Mercy FFA Tournament

You're Invited!
Autumn Forge prides itself on making an expressed committment to uphold the notions of sportsmanship and respect for one’s opponents.
While this is a competitive tournament Autumn Forge tournaments will always be about clans and communitites coming together to play with people that share our common purpose to promote longevity and friendship in gaming.

Desription
This is a Modern Warfare 3 free for all (FFA) tournament
All Autumn Forge tournaments are free to as many Autumn Forge clan/community ally members
Matches will pit anywhere from 8 to 10 individuals in games for Core FFA Deathmatch depending on how many sign up
We would like to see a minimum of 32 participants. After 32 participants, we will have a stand-by list and those on the stand-by list will be included only if the total exceeds 64 participants (to have sufficient size games)
Matches will consist of 3 FFA games and overall scores (kills) for all three games will be combined
To advance to the next round of the tournament you must place in the top four in your match/round
In the event of a tie for the 4th place spot, the two gamers who tied will both advance. The same for a three way tie for 4th.
All participants must be on time for the match. There will be a waiting period of 10 minutes. If after 10 minutes a participant hasn't shown up the match will begin with that participant forfeiting his spot.



Rules

No cheating, boosting or glitching (anyone caught cheating will not be allowed to play in any future Autumn Forge Tournaments
Matches will consist of 2 FFA (Core) games on separate maps. Combined totals from both games will determine match result
There will be 3 different classes available for you to use each round each with it's own weapons, perks, killstreaks, and deathstreaks. There will be a new set of 3 classes for each round. I will officially unveil all 3 classes in each round on Monday, May 21 after all classes have been tested by our crack class testing staff....ok...there's only a couple of us, but you get the idea.
Round 1 - Havoc
Round 2 - Barebones
Round 3 - Boom
Round 4 - CoD 4 Classics (if 4 Rounds are needed)
Games will be no-score limit, with a 10 minute time limit

Registration Deadline - Midnight, Thursday, June 7, 2012
Bracket/Schedule will be posted on Friday, June 8, 2012

I recently brought Black Ops for the PS3 I live in NZ and my connection is frustratingly bad but only on Black Ops all I get is 1 bar very occasionally I get 2 and even rarer 3.

My main issue however, is that when I am trying to join lobbies I seem to just get put into games on my own which no one joins.

I have MW3 and dont have a problem of course, I have the odd game in which I get bad single but I simply leave join another and im good again.

after doing some searchs I have made come changes such as changing the NAT to open (its was on moderate) changed the DMZ Host with the Ps3 and changed the search setting at Locale even turning off my iphone!

None of which have made much of a difference if any.

Connection is definitly not a problem I live in central auckland and have at least a 6mbps connection at all times.

any suggestions can anyone help? or is that me and black ops finished.

I much prefer it to MW3 and all my mates from back home(UK) have black ops.

We started off with a small base of members playing Call of Duty 4. From then on we have grown ever so quickly into other games and even other countries!

Today, we run many games that we host for our large member base and have very enthusiastic team players for each of the games we run. These "teams" all compete in leagues and cups across the gaming scene and are looking for more players and teams everyday. We have servers in the UK, Europe, United States and very soon, Australia.

For the people that prefer to play socially, just come into a game and Teamspeak to have a bit of banter and just generally have fun, we have a wide base membership that love to do that everyday on the public servers that we offer. I got that new xbox 360 with kinect and want to load all my games from my xbox arcade's memory pack. From what I can see there is nowhere to insert the pack. It's not a USB connection like some others so I'm at a loss of what to do.

Their strategy reportedly relies on 3 key weapons in their arsenal; Windows, XBox, and Windows Phone, along with SkyDrive and Bing as reinforcements. The cornerstone of their strategy is Windows 8, scheduled to make its debut this fall, and will reportedly showcase touchscreen integration as well as the “interactive tile-based “Metro” user interface,” introduced in 2010 for the Windows Phone 7 and ultimately incorporated into their XBox gaming system. With the additional feature of having built in cloud based services, such as Skydrive, Bing and Windows Live, Microsoft customers will be able to access all of their apps, content, search history and favorites, simply by logging onto their account.



While early consumer reviews of Microsoft 8 are relatively positive, given Microsoft’s past track record, a main concern of reviewers is “Developer” backing.
