Hello everyone,
I'm glad to announce a big expansion to Call Of Duty Boards. We are now a part of Central Gamers Network (CGN) at CentralGamers.net (http://www.codboards.com/redirect.php?http://www.centralgamers.net/index.php?act=idx)
This will change a few things on CoDBoards.com and are listed below:
We will get the default global skin, I'm sure you will like it.
We get a button at the bottom saying we are CGN partner site.
The logo will change slightly, to accomodate the new skin and also to have CGN logo.
And of course we will get more traffic to COD Boards.
Please post your comments and concerns.
Regards,
deLogic.

Central Gamers is looking very nice and I am sure it will help COD Boards out a lot.
Question - With the default global skin, will COD Board members be able to choose this current skin or will there only be one skin?

There will be only one skin, one set of smilies but icons will be a bit different.
Things can change in the future though.

I must admit, I think that this skin goes better with the Call of Duty theme than the other one does, but I guess the forums with different skins would look weird. Other than that, it sounds all good!

I'll try to make it look as much compatible as possible.

Does That mean I need to put my boards back up?

No Stalker, COD Boards will resume functioning as it always has been. You're all set, perhaps you've now got even better deal :D

Why are you joining them?
It seems that they only have 30 members, and hardly any posts (including a not so good looking theme) compared to yours which is waaay better in every category!

Actually it's more like a join each other thing. And unfortunately the skin will be replaced here.

You have to bare in mind Codboards has been around for much longer. As Delogic said its more of a redirection service.

Domain will remain the same, everything will be the same and CODBoards will function as it used to. Just affiliation with CGN now got CODBoards a part of the network, before it was not.
Not only that, my other projects like doomforums.com and mohforums.com are now also on the same network.
Hoping to consolidate things for better performance.

It is turning into a nice little network even though the MOH forums are currently down. Since we are on the topic of CODBoards, will CODToplist be making the transition as well?
I think these changes will only be for the better. I do have to praise everyone who fixed everything so there could be a CGN.

Thanks jaruff, no CODToplist will remain outside the network since it's not a forum. But there is a link from CODToplist coming to codboards.
