Video Problem-CoD and UO

Just bought this game last week and it is incredible! Having a little difficulty tho. I have done some searches and tried a few things, to no avail. I know you guys can help me out =)

Can only get the game to run correctly in safe mode. In normal, I get weird gray triangles that wont allow me to see the screen. I'm sure it is a video driver issue, but can't seem to get around it even after updating my drivers etc.

System specs:

2.8 Ghz P4, 2.3 Gig RAM, 80 Gig HD x2, FireGL T2 AGP Video Card running newest ATI drivers

I completely uninstalled the drivers using the driver cleaning software that was reccommended here (cant remember the name of it right now and I'm at work on a diff PC). And reinstalled the drivers and made sure I was running directx9.0c.

Please help. Awesome game and I know it will be even better once I can run the full graphics on it.

First of all, see if it runs correctly in directx7. It may be that your card is not upto speed for directx9c.

Thanks for the warm welcome and prompt replies.

Very strange that my card would not be up to date. I thought it was a decent card. I play EverQuest II with almost all options on and it runs great. Maybe they aren't using directx tho....hmm. Anything special I need to do to uninstall 9.0c?

I don't have CoD 2 yet. Will be grabbing it sometime next week. Played the demo tho and seemed to run fine.

What video card do you have??

ATI FIREGL T2-128 128MB AGP

It's a nice card. Can't believe it runs on my neighbor's machine and not mine. He is running it on his onboard video and I cant run it on my 128! LOL

I still can play in safe mode (thank God) and LOVE this game!

Again, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
