if u were in power of ur home nation in 1939 would u have gone to war or not, yes i no u americas didn't come intil around 2 years late! when all of europe was in ruins and UK were bankrupt. so anyways would u have taken ur country to war against Nazi germany or not, or maybe u would have allied with them, please state ur reasons for your answers thanks, i wanna see how this turns out.

He needs to learn about the Treaty of Versailles. The people of Germany helped Hitler gain power because he promised to rebuild the economy and avenge Germany from the pain of the Treaty of Versailles.

Yeah, German citizens didn't know what to do. They were all out of sync from WWI and didn't have anyone to turn to besides Hitler, or fleeing their homeland.

Most Nazi's didn't have a choice, they were sent into the army by force.

(Also I heard that a portion of the Nazi's guarding the Atlantic Wall were captured Russian troops from the 'Eastern Front' and they just surendered when the going got tough. Just what I heard though.

yes i would have gone to war but in 1939 wasnt that end of depression? (i think im wrong there) any way yes i would go to war and military would have got more funding than what they had before war. if they did it would have saved so many lives... sad thing that america back then waited to be attecked before producing strong military :(

u lot have to remember though that many millions of germans loved hitler, and that was also a huge reason why he got many votes and they became the biggest party in germany. Plus we also have to remember in the years leading up to WW2 hitler did do germany alot of good, not for the jews and others in germany, but for the economy very good and for everything else.
