Where is the MP43? It's actually my favorite because it can function both as a "spray and pray” if you get caught in a cat fight and in semi-automatic mode it makes a pretty effective long range weapon, especially from a prone position.
My only complaint is that they make your run like you are carrying a howitzer when in fact the MP43 (11.5 lbs loaded) while somewhat heavier than an M1 (9.25 lbs) or its descendent AK47 (9.5 lbs), it is certainly not in the class of the BAR (18.5 lbs loaded) or the BREN (22 lbs loaded). Its weight is actually 1/2 lb lighter than the PPSh (12 lbs loaded) and yet you can run much faster with the PPSh than the MP43. Is it possible the game designers added in the mobility penalty to compensate for the other strengths of the MP43?
I would have said the FG42 for having the same dual abilities plus I love the telescopic sight but unless it's just me, it just doesn't seem to have any real killing power at long ranges, even in semi -automatic mode making the scope pretty useless in practice.

well with the FG42 it only shot an 8mm round. Not the strongest, but yea it should have some killing power. Mabye a goof

Well, personally my fav. weapon(s) are:

1)Mosin Nagant
2)Kar98
3)MP44
4)Springfield
5)Bren

Most of the time, I only use rifles... So Mosin Nagant would be my favorite. Best accurate weapon I've ever used style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbup.gif

I usually go for the BAR. Then maybe a good rifle, M1 most of the time.

I tend to use the Thompson sub-machine gun, just because I think it's pretty balanced in terms of power, accuracy, mobility, and firing speed.

That and the PPSH, which is a pretty decent gun, too.
