ONLINE PS2 ISSUES

I have a couple of questions that I would like to have help with. Any help is greatly appreciated. :D

When I'm playing online with the Playstation 2 I will get to a certain score and it will send me back down to zero and will start counting negative. Usually this happens around the 120-140 mark, and will continue to go negative until I get to negative 120-140, then it will go back to zero again and start all over. I notice this same thing going on with teams as well. It sucks, because you go from 1st place to last place in a second. Why does this happen?

Also when playing the PS2 version online I notice that some players will jump back and forth between teams killing their own teammates, and jumping around enough so they can't get kicked. At least for a while anyway. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

I hate it when I'm killed by a teammate and so I swith sides so that it isn't just friendly fire, and then they swith sides to where you are, and repeat the process.

I do to, and they ruin a lot of people's games. It's hard to deal with that when someone else is hosting the game.

Is there anyone out there that can answer the question of why the counter resets and goes negative when you reach a certain score?

Anyone at all?? I see people have viewed this topic, but no one knows an answer.

I've even sent an email to the help desk part of Activision with the same question and they said they can't answer questions about online play, just the offline part. Which to me makes no sense at all. Anyone who can shed some light on this problem would really be helping me out. Thanks ahead of time. B)
