Greatest race of Warrior's

I was wondering who you all though was the greatest race/country of war. I'd have to say the Romans were. Not only did they succeed at conquering much of the known world, but their empire lasted about 1000 years (inlcuding the days of the republic), This is a great achievement to say the least...

i agree with you on that one. they did last a long time, but they were rotting from the inside out for a very long time. Near the end, there were very few good rulers--most of them were corrupt and did not help the empire. if they had kept the system of the republic and the senate, they probably would have lasted longer.

I would have to say one of the greatest empires was the short-lived Greek empire under Alexander the Great. Though it was not long before it was divided. Still to conquer from the mediterranean to Asia, is quite and accomplishment.

The mongols might have had lots of land even warriors but where not as advanced as the Romans

the greatest race of warriors was the greek army. With Alexander the great they were litterally invincible. i.e. Alexander and his troops stopped at a small town and asked the king to surrender and give the town to him, the king refused so to show the obidience of his troops alexander ordered his troops to march off the nearby cliff. they started to mach and eventually began to fall of the cliff. after about 20 people off the cliff alexander halted them. the king was so petrified he surrendered on the spot.now that is a powerful race of warriors.

Before Alexander, the Spartan's were the greatest race of warriors. They trained their boys as fighters as soon as they were able to walk. They trained them obedience by having all the boys sit on a bench that was sprinkled with sand. It had sand for the purpose to keep them still. If a boy were to shift himself in any manner the sand would not leave an imprint. If they stayed perfectly still there would be an imprint. Thus if you were to shift, you were not paying attention.
