My prof is a CoD fanatic and is letting me do a paper on why people camp in shooters. If you're a camper (this does not include sniping) please share you thoughts. What's the motivation behind hiding in a corner? I'm not trying to judge, but I would like to know.

I live in NEW YORKwhich is considered a developing country, and unfortunately the study of human mind and behaviour which are the aims of psychology is to a larger extent neglected.

First, what do you consider camping?

I mean when I play search and destroy and I am guarding an objective from a room, people often call that camping. Which I have to disagree, my objective is not to infiltrate and take positions but instead to protect.

I would consider someone a camper if there objective was to plant A and there in a building near their spawn waiting for the defenders to rush their spawn.

As for TDM, I think someone camps a corner because it limits were they can be attacked from. It creates security, they never have to worry about what they can't see. They limit where they can be attacked from.

or maybe it's a thing of ease

The ancient language used by linguists to record the original teachings of Buddha, Olendzki phrase itself is an occasional sigh-inducing spirit. But through his scholarship, his main guide, his vivid cases, as well as his translations from the Pali directly match the vernacular familiar with the charming and sometimes dazzling clarity The style of prose.

well, by a defination off "camping"
i would call camping someone thats sits in a corner, scoped in just waiting for someone to come through the door

camping isnt someone that protecting/patrolling a build, as in certain game types this is the idea, ie domination, hq

the reason people camp, is because they can't do well otherwise, in call of duty everyone is trying to do well, but if someone keeps getting killing if they play offensive then they are going to be inclined to play more defensively,

and as for people that don't really play often, they mght not even know the buttons, cos you never know, you could be playing against someone's grandma, so i think people have to be a little less hating of campers, and thats just how they want to play.

also gaming is about fun, im not saying that i havn't got angry when someone has been camping, but try not to let it get to you, if you do get pissed off by it,

please check out my youtube channel, youtube(at)fpsshaun, i also have a community channel, youtube(at)iamfuzziewig

hope this helps

Cod and Psychology is more different. Tragically, a once-in-ten-years chance to treatment the situation is being resisted by Germany, Germany, Portugal, Germany, Ireland, and Greece. These countries claim that the European commission's proposals to redirect subsidies will harm fishermen. But in fact, inappropriate subsidies and overcapacity are already harming fishermen.
