XBOX - System Link - No chat

Working three xbox 360s on a LAN. But when in COD WaW - no voices can be heard.

It used to work, but with the latest patch it does not seem to allow player chat via system link anymore.

Any suggestions?

Hmm, never really done a system link, but try either getting into a party -(if you got internet with it) Or go to settings>memory and do the maintanance (removes updates) and try. If possible stay off Xbox live and try without updates .The, turn it on, and download. Sorry I can't be much help, system link is foreign to me.

The issue is that we all three do not have xbox live. It is a home LAN. Chat works fine for other games - just not this new version of COD WaW. For example will be playing and chatting in HALO Wars, switch disks to COD WaW but Chat does not work. The players icons done even show up with the mic symbol.

There is no way to do groups on a system link. That's a live function.

I did some googleing, and it appears alot of others are having this problem. You said it did work, but after an update it didn't. Try removing the updates which is going to system and memory,press y then clear cache. Hopefully it will work.


And if you do not have xbox live , how did you get the updates?

I have three xboxs here but only one XBOX live account. The live account I move around and it gives me the updates.

It's somethign with CoD WaW issue and chat, just tested it again last night - we played a but of Halo Wars, Chat works fine, then swaped out into the CoD disks but chat don't work.

I'll wait to see if they fix it.
