Time For A Redesign

i've been toying with the idea of redesigning my portfolio site in php, now that i have a host that supports it, and i figured i'd come up with a new layout as well. it's all html so far, but what do you guys have to say? the links don't work, and the content isn't there or anything, just a rough basic design.

amazingly so far i haven't resorted to tables and there are only minor glitches between browsers that i've found.

The links along the top could be a bit clearer, and the green banner is a little too much, but its a nice layout and whatnot :D

thanks :) now that i see it again, that green banner is WAY overdone, but i don't have time to clean it up at the moment. i'm still having a hard time deciding on a font for those tab buttons. i'll probably go with something basic and easy to read.

the original is still better though.
