What the heck is wrong with this game? I have never had so much trouble getting a game to run correctly..

Quite simple in my opinion - The game was not ready for public release. There are way to many problems that should have been identified and resolved way before even the Beta was released.

Treyarch have made mistake after mistake. I'm glad the next installment is returning to the trustworthy Infinity Ward.

What problem(s) are you having exactly?
I have a system very similar to yours, and I've been able to get it working without any major issues. Maybe I can help.....

The only significant difference is that I am using the on-board RealTek audio on my EVGA 680i, instead of a SoundBlaster.

Hence why I didn't purchase CoD5 or even plan on purchasing it. Treyarch is GARBAGE.
