right im really wondering if it's worth buying this game, has anyone got it yet? and would it be enough to capture me more than COD 4?
i loved the last rainbow 6 vegas, it was awesome, but i tried playing on the old one the other day and it just seemed...messy! compared to cod 4 i thinkevery other shooter just seems a bit weak, and i dont want the same thing happening if i go out and by the new Vegas.

ah cool! nice one cheers nick, does anyone actually have an opionion from the xbox point of view though? i watched the videos fromit today and from my thinking i reckon it looks too similar if not exactly like the first version of the series...graphics wise it's not a scratch on cod...but would like to hear gameplay feedback :)

hey gellard my buddy that plays on the 360 platform and he just got the game and i had asked him about it. He told me to him it's good. Kinda like the first one. he said the graphics he would rate between a 6-7 and he said that the online play is really laggy. he isn't a member or else he would post himself. I just thought that you would like to hear about another 360 players input.

R6V2 is basically a patch for part 1, they charge you $60 for a new game when they could of just charged you $10 for some DLC, its a very dissapointing game, I returned it after 2 days and put the money towards GTA IV.

I got it yesterday, aint got round to going online yet, but have played on terrorist hunt and single player and it's damn good o the single player as it was before. The graphics are good, still not a touch on COD4 ones but i think we have been spoilt by them lol
happy i bought it though, picked it up for £18 after trading in assasins creed and R6V1 :)

i've just tried playing it online, it made me want to play call of duty.
online with this is just a joke, lobbys are all over the place, everything takes for ever and you spend most your time waiting around to get a game, when you finally get one its over and your searching for another game again. the lag is awful, bullets just dont land and everything just feels a little too similar to the first version to make it any different. im gonna be sticking to the single player with this and save my competitiveness for online with COD4.

dice man i dont know what youre talkin bout but neither do i care, if you played vegas 1 and were good you wouldnt be saying the same thing....vegas 2 is extremely good, ive played it and unfortunately havent touched my cod4...they have all new maps, guns, story mode is a lot better, they fixed all the glitches that people could do in vegas, they fixed all the sound problems, they changed the entire way you earn you gubns and ranks which people have said was a great improvement, and they added leaderboards and stuff like that, a few new game modes...dice mann obviously has no real idea what hes talking about...im a legit major and was a legit elite on vegas1
This is kind of irrelevant since you've bought the game and like it but I'll voice my opinion anyway.
I never played the first R6V but had to get this one for the co-op play. Compared to COD4 the graphics, sound, and story are subpar. The gameplay gets a little repetitive too. The more I played, though, the more I liked it. Co-op is just badass. You and a buddy taking out 40 terrorists on a T-Hunt is so much fun. The character customization is really cool. The leveling system is well thought out. Overall I really like this game because it's different and I feel like my skill improves each time I play.
Infamous mentioned that the sound was fixed but I find it horrible. Half the time the guns don't emit a sound at all or they're really delayed. The game glitches a lot too. And I'm talking about single player or co-op. I can't imagine how bad it is in multi-player (haven't tried it yet).

this woman behind me just made a disgusting noise, but... HEY LOOK AT THAT! Tom Clancy what? Who is that! TOO BUSY IN MY COD4 RAMPAGE! But to get to the point, Graphics, sound, and story... Story especially (I don't play Halo 3, because the story was terrible) is what makes the game for me, I put the money in a great sound system, TV and home theater set-up and I want excellent reload animations, well designed gun detail, the best terrain graphics, beautiful building design, the BEST character design (COD is a lot like CS in charater model idea. no customization, but no one person dislikes their character models). I was a huge fan of Ghost recon for PC when it came out a while back, Also The first Xbox 360 version (which i recently traded in for money at Ebgames), but they just didn't seem to do anything different with RVB2 and thats what got me :/ far down the line I'll get back into tom Clancy games, but for now they don't seem to be.. "up to par" w00t w00t, LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!!!!!
