COD5 rank

Anybody think your hard earned prestige should remain the same through COD4 into COD5? Like still start at level one but still keep your badge, and still earn all of your guns and perks over, if that is how they choose to do the weapons system in cod5...

Id say work for your stuff ya its tough but better to feel like you achieved something in a new game you know.

good one infamous. but i would say no for one reason only, its more of a challenge to earn all of it again than to automatically have it in the begining.

well i would hope that they kind of keep it modern. its cool. well to me it is.

But who's to say they'll use the same exact multiplayer level up and weapon system again? I doubt that this will be a possibility because they'll probably add some new features or new weapons. For example, say they keep the Barret but add another sniper rifle that you earn before the Barret. It wouldn't seem right owning the Barret before the other gun. It's a pretty good idea, but some things wouldnt work out. Just my two cents.

No it would not. People who are allready 10th prestige have to complate it once whilst newcomers will have to start from the beginning. And if they are changing eras ( I am sure they are going back to WWII but can anyone say if they have confirmed this) it might be diffrent ranks.

well i hope that it will have new rifles and challenges. and plus i would rather start over again for a few reasons
1) a new challenge
2) wouldnt be fair to anyone else if i had everything and they all started anew

Well if everyone got to keep their stuff that they've already unlocked how would that make towards the new leaderboards when they release COD5. They would be all jacked up. that wouldn't be fair to the new players.

im not saying keep all your guns or stats or anything, you just keep your symbol/badge (whatever you want to call it) but the point about them not using the same sytem is a strong possibility...

In ps3 fourms there was a topic about what the rank meens. The second presitge is a medal if you fought in viatnam. The 9th is if you died in viatnam. So that overrules that idea

I was hoping COD5 would be a WW1 game, WW1 FTW!!! I'm also hoping COD5 has the option of calling in a pack of dogs after a 10 kill streak, maybe equip the dogs with juggernoob or martydom, that would kick ass...

I think it would be a cool idea to have your call ofd duty 4 rank on your stats page. Like for instants click on a player to see there kills deaths wins loss all that stuff. and mabey a call of duty 4 rank showing the last games rank. Start anew and everything just show players how good you were in last game.

They need to not go to WWII. that era is so dead and every war game is about it. Some futre warfare would be cool.

Future warfair is bad cause i hate the weps. Apart from Ut3. I think set like in 2014 would be good. Just a few nice changes. Not to far like 2546 and ultra powered lasers tho.
