I've checked into the PS3 Comm. Forum a couple of times tonight (this morning),
and noticed this new forum.
IMHO.... this Forum is going to be a piss+moan, mine is bigger than yours, Xbox-v-ps3...whine fest.
This IS the COD boards...right?

Why don't you learn to read? No 'H' in Jonny. I joined this group cos I enjoy call of duty. I normally don't join because of all the fanboys. I'm just sick of all the '360 this and PS3 that.' You cannot say you hate a bunch of plastic and some wires. A group gets set up to avoid all this pointless conflict between the 2 groups and people are still going on about it...it's a joke.

Ok i hate the 360 for a few reasons.

1) 33% failure rate (ring of death enough said)
2) Halo is the only game really holding up this system
3) I owned an xbox and I hated the shape of the controller.
4) You have to pay to play online
5) Ps3 is backwards compatable compaired to the 360

And about kissing a girl, learn who you are tryin to talk to cuz if you ask nick he knows I have a fiance. Also I dont go into flame wars!

1) This failure rate affects you in what way? And you get a new console if it fails anway.

2) GoW is a pretty good title, they now have GTA which is huge an the Pro Gotham titles have always been successful. Hence the reason for so many 360's been sold compared to PS3's.

3) You disliked the ergonomics of the controller. O.K. but hate is a strong word.

4) Pay for xbox live - I agree this is a downside and if when I buy a 360 this will annoy me but if you offset it with the price difference compared to the PS3 it evens it up.

5) PS3 may play some PS2 games but mine doesn't play half of mine this is the same case with my mates 360.

and i am not payin $300 for the 360 and having the 33% failure be the one i got and have to buy another one.

well i'm pretty sure they fix it/send a new one

plus this 33% failure rate was with the first batches

its very rare that they die with the newer ones


maybe its cos my ps3 is uk spec u guys over the pond seem to get preferential treatment

what are you talkin about? I read like 2 months ago that they still have a 33% failure rate and then the special edition halo ones scratch the disks, now why would i want to take that chance and wait till they send me one? it takes like 4 to 6 weeks to get it back not thanks.

Here you go jonny its at 30% now sorry i was wrong with it being 33%. and this was posted today here. See you are in the UK i dont know if you have this problem really cuz a bunch of my friends do still. my friend got so pissed about having to send his back for a second time he smashed it with a hammer. And trust me i dont spread lies only facts so dont call me a liar jonny. And midnight i know that some systems have problems but it really seems to be the xbox, but the slim line ps2 had a recall as well and i had to send my power cord in. that sucked.

Oh yeah did i forget to mention that the PS3 is starting to get its own failure rating? 60 gig launch PS3 has a dvdrom problem.

Well i own a 360 along with a ps3 and and so far i have gone through let's see about 7 360's because of ring of death and my 80 gig ps3 i haven't had any issues once so ever. None notta zilch. but enough said.
