Hello Everyone.
After buying CoD 4 and playing it on low setting I was having a problem were the game would just start lagging so I knew it was my video card.
Anywho my current Graphics Card is an ATI x550, Yes I know, pretty old.
So I needed a fast card for a budget and I stopped over the 7950 GT Nvidia card.
If I were to get this card... Specs --- Texture Fill Rate per Second ^13.2 Billion--- Maximum Memory Bandwidth 44.8 GB/s---- Memory size 512 MB --- HDR Lighting 68 bit and Direct X 9, Would I be able to run This game on max smoothly?

Please Help me

Regards,

im2kewl :)

What's your idea of smoothly? You'd probably get around 125 constant on highest settings, just a guess though - but it does depend on processor and RAM.

Processor is Pentium 4 3.20 ghZ -I know-
2 GB Ram

So am I capable of running it on max settings, If not will an 8800 GT 512 MB do the trick?

Yes it will, just make sure your PSU is adequate (should be since you seem to have a higher-end computer).

Last time I heard a Pentium 4 isn't that high end : /
I have a 500 watt one so I should be fine.
Well what about a 8800 Gt 512 MB?

Thanks for the help
