Who likes Prestige Mode!?

i dont like prestige mode. im wondering if you guys vote and stuff if i should do prestige mode!

I like Prestige Mode in principal. My understanding though is it is not a reflection of skill so much as time spent playing. I'm sure my grandmother could get a "10 tag" given enough time.

I do like unlocking things though, and and prestige mode will let me do that while giving me a little tag to show off.

It's a nice little something that doesn't mean anything.

Does Prestige mode go on forever. Do they keep adding them. because if it goes on forever than i'm stopping at the second prestige. if not. how many prestige modes do you think there are?

prestige mode has 10 levels so the max level u can get to is like 550 since u go to 55 then start back over, but that isnt based in skill its based on the amount of time spent, since like Aardvark said anyone can get that far it jus takes time, and since u get points for jus bein in the match it will jus take longer with less skill and/or time

I was proud of myself when i did prestige mode until this one guy said it went on forever!!! Then i was really mad and i was thinking that i should of not ever done prestige mode. Does it never stop or does the ranking on prestige mode stop? Can someone confirm what the answer is?!

When u go into prestige mode u lose EVERYTHING, all ur guns, perks, and challenges, I think they threw it in to make u wanna play the game more that way u dont get bored like in other games (halo 3) so that they make more money and u play it longer/have more fun

How do they make more $$ off of it? I have already bought the game. I don't pay extra for online play.

I heard a few people are already on their 10th prestige mode on Xbox 360. That would take hours of playing day in and day out to get that far. Unless you get a large group of people to agree to let you shoot them a thousand times in search and destroy to get the points a lot faster. That is the way I think many clans have earned their prestige modes much faster. I don't think I will do prestige mode until I complete all challenges and get all the perks. If I do prestige it will be on a different tag. You know like have one tag for prestige and another for keeping all of your hard earned perks and challenges.

Its a shame you have to lose all your challenges, some of those challenges take pure luck. Like killing 3 people while in mid air. You would have to use an RPG or a lucky air strike to do that.

well im on my 1st pestige rank 20 not doing prestige 2 as thni d have to keep going till im 10 plus when u reach 10 u get nothing so :/

you definitly should because it will gain u a lot more respect and imagine walking around with a golden sniper or p90. however they should make more unlockables and challenges for people in prestige mode

they should also let u carry over one gun one perk nd one attachmen to any gun

Just finished lv 55, Ive got my golden Desert egal, Now what, i stil have my score and weapons, When will i loose them?? I spose when i get to prestige mood?? When people say 'i don't want to play Prestige does that mean there going to stop playing the game because you can't not play it can you its just the next stage on the online game????? I can't wait to get to PLV1 i wanna see what happens. Only 4050 points to go :icon_sad: . I know what im going be doing tomorrow night.

You loose everything IF you decide to do prestige, after you get enough points, prestige mood will be unlocked in your barracks, and you can decide to loose everything and go prestige or stay a lv.55, it doesnt just go right into prestige

pretty much, i recently prestiged because it got boring sitting on top as lvl 55 and me using the same guns

so i prestiged and earning all my guns again is funner when all your points get wasted

i think your hearing off of rumors, IW would never give anyone 5 perks for committing themselves to their game. sure you get the cool Navy Medal of honor, but not 5 perks, so according to you someone could get stopping power, matrydom, juggernaught, Deep impact, and Fragx3?

From what i've heard from several prestigers. Maybe they are just telling me that just to get me to keep going through prestige. lol. oh well it's fun coming into a match showing a level one and just straight dominating with the m16 with the iron sites. lol
