t1 or no?

I think they are both good, i personally use DSL myself and really don't like it so i'm getting a T1 server near april, i think it's like 7MBP/s or something like that, but what's with the ADSL?

Our school system claims to have a T1 line but if it is its not opened up. Its about as slow a tweaked 56K.

Remember it's shared, and T1 line doesn't mean super fast connection. Low end T1 lines are rated from 1.5mbits, there fiber optic and more reliable than cable/dsl thats why it's more expensive. (and seeing it's a SCHOOL I doubt they paid for a really good connection.)
