this one may be completly easy....and lemme just say that I just got the game yesterday.... you know I dont like to call myself a noob but the games new....hahaha...
but
why is is that when I got the 100kills for the semi auto snipe and got the "new" scope....that it brings down the range....or rather turns a huge chunk of it to red.... I tried to search for the topic but couldnt find....
Please Help me with some of this confusion....

The scope adds range, but gives less accuracy. This basically means that you can see further to aim, but since you are aiming at a target that is farther away, the bullets end up being less accurate. I personally like the laser sight. I like to have my peripheral vision...

Well I have the PS3 version but to be honest I don't like using the scopes. The bullet drop for a target farther away always increases, Personally the Automatic ones like the M21 and the Dragunov I find pretty pesky and a nuisance.

You are so wrong it hurts :P
The COAR scope (or what the 4 letters are), reduces the zoom of the rifle you add it to compared to a standard sniper scope, which reduces range and increases accuracy/efficiency @ closer ranges,, it basically turns the sniper rifle into an assault rifle :)
I just got the M14 COAR scope yesterday and it is a beast (imo)
