well, my soon-to-be gf, just bought a 2002 lancer es, and i pictured sumtin close to an evo, all wheel drive and crap... i was wrong... :no: :ew: but i wanted to kno if anyone knew anythin about them and if they have read any reviews and how how to car is, 1-10.. over all.. thanx guys

I was so hyped about hearing the Lancer name being in the US.. after seeing it, I was dissapointed, specs aren't great either. Stupid US emissions. I rate this car a 2, I'll import my Lancer if I have money.

yea, she got it yesterday, i drove it... i was dissapointed i think ur right, tat if i had the money, id import a lancer evo... itz ok thou, for a first car, its nothing big, 4 cyl, 16 valve, bout 120 horse. i was also mad that she got an automatic... but w/e, i was reading a lot of reviews on sum websites, it goes back and forth, half ppl like it, half dont.... but i giv ethe car about 4, rating aginast civics, integras, and other 4 cilnders, i prolly give it around 8... at the most

Not even worth to race against civics or integras. You get more of a challenge at a karting track, at least there you know you can do 80mph down a straight without blowing your engine. *cough* :D
