In a squad of 20 soldiers, which weapons were avalaible to them? All the soldiers may have a Service Rifle, and what else?

Thanks.

For US European front soliders a squad would have a BAR or two. Also a .30 cal MG. The rest would have M1's with some having carbines.

Germans and Russians had rifle divisions/regiments/brigade etc. They had heavy infantry (MG's and such). Despite common belief, the MP44 was not deployed amongst Kar riflemen, but given to whole units at a time to turn the tide of the war.

I've read that the MP44 was deployed in small numbers late in the war and almost exclusively on the Eastern (Russian) front. It did make a show during the Battle of Bulge (in very very small numbers) with some units that got transferred from the eastern front for the operation. Primary German weapons were the KAR and the submachine guns. (e.g. MP40).

The MP44 sure does play a big role considering in CoD2 considering it had limited deployment.

A squad or a section can consist of 8-12 people, if that's what you mean. Usually led by a Corporal or the equivalent of.

I've actually wondered about unit sizes. You read about a battalion or division being deployed. Or a wing of aircraft. But I never know how many people that is. Or how much do the sizes vary. I guess a good google search item.
