CoD3 Multiplayer???

Can the multiplayer function on the PS2 version of CoD3 only be used online? I would like to play it offline with a couple of my mates but I don't know how this would work. The manual is useless as it only shows how to get online.

are you talking about having 2 to 4 of you playing on the one console at the same time ? I think you need a muliti tap anyway which you probably already know but i think that functions only avalible for the 360 version im not sure.

I dont know about the PS2, but for the PS3 theres only Single-Player and Online-Multiplayer. No Co-op

Yeah I mean on the PS2 version. If you select multiplayer then all it does is ask for an online network adapter which I don't have (waiting for PS3). Is there any way to play offline with either 2 players or using a multi-tap, 4 players?

on the 360 it says local split screen if it doesnt say that on the PS2 version i dont think you can play it, and if you can then you should just be able to play with two until you put a multitap in.
