The Black Baron

Does anyone know if the boss sorta tank that you chase through the town and then kill (he is called "The Black Baron") in the black baron level was real or is that just for the purposes of the game?

I'm pretty sure The Black Baron was just a play on the Red Baron of ww1, I have never heard of a Black Baron and would have since we studied the Red Baron-indepth last year in Honors World History.

Seems to me like it was just kindof a 'boss' thing to make it more interesting.

I honestly don't think there ever really was a Black Baron, and if there was he never achieved any real noteriety. Also, tanks take 3-4 people to operate, so it would be "barons". Doesn't really apply to tanks what applies to planes :icon_neutral:

It was a King Tiger Tank, and it seemed like it was a boss kinda.
