i say the colt45 its stoping power is good and it is steal yust to day buy the spesel forces..and i like the and the Ak-47 and 74 are good to real reliabl drop a Ak in mude it well steal shoot..and the 9mm is not bad ethere not as sterong as the calt45 but its smal 9mm bullit mack it go a lot farther then the calt45..i cood say a lot a bout guns my dad fexes them 4 ppl.. he has all cinds of guns and sum ww2 ones but aout of all of them i like my dads MP5it shoots a 9mm bullit and it gos therow a 30 round clep in sec.. o i seed moer then what i that i whas woow.. and it is peroboley all speald rong and what i just sead is rong to.

My favorite gun is the one I most enjoy seeing and using in movies and games. Muzzle velocity, round size, etc are completely irrelevant to me. That's like saying someone should base their favorite car on specs, in which case the only favorite someone could pick is an F1 car or something, when a Ferrari 360 has so much more style.

Ok, I'm no weapon expert, but I know it uses a 5.56 x 45 mm NATO Round, it's capable of automatic fire, semi auto, and burst, C stands for compact, it's gont an 8 inch barrel, and it's gas operated. It also uses the same sight on a UMP.

OK........Here's a question that somebody asked on a server, and I'm the only person who got it right :)

What was the largest small arms used in World War 2......NO GOOGLE, ONLY GUESS. and you can just say the type of weapon >_> not the eact name of it.

My favorite small arm would probably be a toss up between STG 44 and the Mauser98k. Though for modern weaponry, the AK-47 is a very capable weapon. Not a fan of its stock design, made for reliablility more then accuracy.I do much prefer the Finnish Valmet and the South African R4 varients way more, which are very much improved versions.

The modern AK-101s and AK-107s/8s are as good as any modern weapon, and probably better than most.

they require at least two; and 1 or 2 guards on stand-bye with submachineguns. small arms is officially defined as no higher than .38 caliber, unless a non-fullauto pistol.

Yes, but a Anti tank rifle does not need 3 people to operate it, only one person.
Light machine gun's count as small arms because they do not require more then one person to operate, while medium and heavy machine guns do, for carrying ammunition, and for carrying extra parts. They probably go under as Artillery.

Where does it say that small arms are officially defined no higher then .38 caliber?
Are you sure it didn't say 3.9 inches? (100mm)

i was just telling you how its not small arms to clear up my answer. the smallest anti-tank rifle in ww2 was about 9.3 MM. Maybe that can be a small arm... arms arnt, in this case, categorized on how many people to operate. it is the size. 1 person can actually, bu himself, operate a FLAK .88, but that's not a small arm.

It has an advanced anti-recoil thingamajigger that sounds sexy.

One person:
Dangerous. Vulnerable.
No sighter. Bad aim.
Slow reloading time. unreliable.
if it brakes, what will one lone infantry soldier do? he cant fix, he cant run, he cant fight.

Catman, the anti tank rifle was designed to be used by one person! Can't you understand that? Ok catman, yes there would be people who would be protecting the operater, but they wouldnt be using the ATs themselves. A flak 88 can't be moved around by one person, and you can't carry around the ammunition. Hell, the thing needs to be towed. Why are you comparing a small anti tank rifle to a flak 88?

Obviously you don't know that soldiers don't work all alone where in cod everyone wants to be a lone wolf. Most likely the anti tank rifleman would be working with a fireteam, NOT A CREW. It seems that you can't tell the difference between the two so whats the point of arguing with you? You don't except, with all the facts presented towards you.

And why would the anti tank gunner need another person to aim for him? So he would have bad aim because he doesnt have another person with him... O let me guess, +30 accuracy if another soldier with him right?

The 88 is my favorite artillary peice of all time. Its accurate, it loads fast, its multi-tasking (artillary bombardments, Anti-Aircraft, and Anti-armour use), and on top of all of that, it self ejects! one less person needed to use it.

I actually have seen one of those funky FN assault rifles at a gun show a year or two ago. It almost didnt look real. It looks simular to the rifles they used in the movie Aliens. I like the futuristic style of the newer assault rifles includeing the FN, the HK and the American variants.

gyrojet is pretty gnarly.. how can you go wrong with a pistol/rocket launcher combo?! (although it had bad accuracy and wasnt used)

the FN fal is a very cool gun indeed :) i like that new-fangled gun with caseless ammunition.. i cant remember the name :( but it is very rectangular..

It was originally designed for anti aircraft, but the Germans cleverly had the idea that they could turn it horizontal.

personally i prefer modsonline to codfiles, its just nicer..

back on topic, what do people think of the mp44 as a great weapon, not exactly the most advanced weapon of the 20th century, but possibly took the biggest leap in weapon advancements, and paved the way for most modern assault rifles...
