Need Help

Sorry for it being out of place. But no one helps me at doomforums.

My Doom,DoomUlt,Doom2,DoomF1,DoomF2 go slow.

I use cmd.exe, i use command.com, I make a shortcut nothing helps it still goes slowly.

After I BFG some monster it goes faster, like 25% of the monsters.

Yes all My specs are far better, no I dont have MS-DOS, no I am not installing it, Yes I have XP, Yes it worked before on my comp.

Sorry I can not help, I don't know muich about that type of stuff.

You might have tryed in the general gaming forum, or on CGN.

Did you look for readme's in the games' directories? They often address known issues and offer fixes/workarounds. It may turn out that you have a simple common problem addressed in the readme.

Well,... if your stuff is that old, I would think that possibly they were designed to run on 16 bit system? You could try running them in compatibility mode, since 16 bit apps usually run like crap, if at all, on XP.
