hi there, since my motherboard died, i change my mind of getting a desktop computer

i was planning of getting this

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?j=...03&type=product (http://www.codboards.com/redirect.php?http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?j=1&id=1069301995506&skuId=6249703&type=product)

but then again i am torn
i already have a raptor drive, my video card is in the rma process and when i get it back it will probably be a 9800 pro, i have Windows 2k, i have a sound blaster audigy 2, i have a dvd/cdrw combo, i have floppy disk, i have 512 mb of pc 2700, i have a 17 inch crt monitor
and i was thinking of ordering one of those shuttle barebones and a amd 2500+ cpu + and US robotics 56k external modem,

i am saying this because soon i will have to move to a room close to the university i am attending, so i am puzzle what to do,
sell the parts, and get the laptop or the desktop made of the parts named above,

also are shuttle barebone sytems reliable, i havent buy anything related to shuttle

thanks

Edit:
again nevermind, i am going with the shuttle since the laptop is too expensive for my tastes, and also i am only going to use the pc in the room
