Australian Open/Cricket Tri-series official thread

I created this thread to discuss the two main sporting events going on right now (Over here anyway), the 2004 Tennis Australian Open, and the Cricket Tri-Series. Feel free to discuss anything about these events here!

Sure I'll talk about them, how about how they are the only things on tv so im very, VERY bord :D

The tennis hasn't started yet, it starts on Monday. Australia vs India is on right now, and India are looking pretty good at 2-242 off 44 overs, and Australia are yet to bat. I'm positive that Australia will win the series, but India will provide some strong competition, although Zimbabwe are totally outclassed by both teams.

Anyway, it turned out that India won, Australia were bowled out in the last over just 17 runs short of their target! It was a great match though.

Both world no. 1 tennis players, Justine Henin-Hardinne and Andy Rodd*ck have advanced to the next stage, although Russia suffered a blow when 7th seed Elena Dementiev was eliminated in straight sets by a little-known foe.

I only watched when the babes where playing :D Had no idea what was happening. Did not know who as winning.

Too bad, you won't find many of them in the cricket :lol: - It is a factor of tennis-watching though :D

Oh, and I'm afraid I have other career plans buddy ;)
